Who am I?

I am a writer, a teacher, an academic.

What do I do?

I recently completed a Ph.D. at Wayne State University in the English Department. Topic: Digital Media and Film Studies.

I teach part-time at various local colleges in universities, and I tutor all levels of English as well as the English, Reading and Writing sections of the ACT and SAT, and French grammar and ESL.

I maintain a blog here called A Memorable Fancy and contribute to another called  Attention Theory.

What do I want to do?

I want to use my skills to do something meaningful.  I am a dynamic writer, teacher and trainer with strong technical skills. I work well with others. I would love to find a position that combines these skills. Any ideas? Contact me at erik at erikmarshall dot net.
