Fabulous list Erik. There are no surprises on here for me, rather, I am just fascinated by our similarities and differences. I've seen them all except TRISTAM SHANDY (don't know that one at all) and I AM A SEX ADDICT - and must say that the following merit comment from me: IN A LONELY PLACE - one of my favorite early self-reflexive movies and a contender for my favorite Bogie film. THE WOMAN NEXT DOOR - you and I just were talking about this and you'll recall I said it was my favorite Truffaut film - GOD BLESS Fannie Ardent! ETERNAL SUNSHINE... is as perfect a film is possible. The ultimate in universal connectivity - you feel that Gondry made the film JUST FOR YOU. And what can you say about LEBOWSKI? A perfect film. The biggest surprise for me is THE CROW. Rest assured pal, you are not alone. I Loved it. Thanks for participating, I'm a "meme, shmeme" type a guy too, but this one was easy and fun and not like a syllabus - more like, hey fill his theater for 12 days with shit you wanna see. Later man
