This may be of interest only to Julie, but the NYTimes ran an article on podcasting today, from which I drew this gem, Coverville. All covers. I am currently listening to a capella covers, including one of “Who’s That Girl” by the Eurythmics. The production is totally amateur, with the “DJ” coughing and dealing with interruptions from his wife, but it’s cool. Podcasting, which is basically people recording and publishing mp3 format “shows”, is totally new to me, but I like it so far. It’s the next best thing to pirate radio.
