Loading ...It’s been an Errol Morris kinda day. A thread on Julie’s blog mentions Morris, then a great post on the abstract and the real has nothing do with Morris, but I wanted to mention him in a comment there, which led me to a google search for a particular quote I remembered of his where he calls commercials the “American haiku,” which led me to this article that states that he is thinking about directing a drama. Now, when I go to imdb I see under his name The Dark Wind, which is a fictional drama. Is imdb wrong? I have this movie, and it is indeed directed by Errol Morris. Could this be a different Morris? It’s a strange movie, and nothing I remember is particular Morris-y, but it’s been a while. Does anyone know anything more about this?
As an echo to my comment at Julie’s, can someone tell me again why I switched my dissertation topic from Errol Morris to digital media?
