I have been looking for something like this for a long time: a blog that does analysis of visual media, specifically news media in this case. I have been thinking about starting something like this, but I don’t have the time. This looks really well done, thorough, compelling…
A warning to my conservative readers: the site is left-leaning. Does anyone know of any similar sites, right, left or center?
(via Feministe)
What a cool site. I’ll keep an eye out for those with the "right" point of view of image bias
BTW, did you see how I refered to your blog in my feed?
Hey, I can’t see any color/textual difference between your links and your regular text. I’m not sure if that’s intentional or not. I’m viewing on Firefox.
It might lead to an interesting topic of analysis: how much do readers really want to link to other stuff you provide? But I suspect it’s a weird product of my computer or Firefox or something.
That’s funny – I was going to post something asking people whether they could see the difference. There was a difference in color, but it was slight. How’s this?
A little better, but not much difference. They are subtle rather than un-discernable now, at least on my computer.
Subtle is what I’m going for. I’ll keep tweaking.
This one really is good–I’m looking at it at work (on IE in a well-lit place) and it looks good, plus it looked good at home.
