When I saw the title for the below link in my email, I thought “Oh boy, another ‘don’t-put-anything-on-the-internet-because-it-will-kill-your-career’ post,” and prepared to blog about how this culture of paranoia is hurting academia, etc., etc.

Job search

Bardiac has a good post on the academic job search from the point of view of the people conducting the serach. While she is careful to qualify at times that the advice is specific to her institution, it provides some good perspective for those on the market.
