<p>But you know what? It is really a grounded and frank assessment of the situation that says, basically, that this particular administrator has not experienced or observed anyone not getting a job at his institution because of social networking activity. It was a little refreshing. I&#8217;m sure, however, that the comments section there (and maybe here) will be full of counterexamples and warnings, which is not bad &#8212; maybe we need to revisit this issue from time to time.</p>
