Both Wendy Chun and Vernor Vinge’s presentations were excellent.
Chun’s talk was wide ranging: she talked about imagined communities (ala Benedict Anderson) and Open Source and Free Software, Habermas and the epistolary novel, the Hong Kong Bus Uncle, and much more.
